The Libraries panel also now has the option to search for similar images from within Photoshop, and to use search results within projects by dragging them directly onto the Canvas. Photoshop’s Libraries panel also now supports Adobe Stock templates. The marketplace now hosts 3D objects and layout templates, the latter of which can be accessed directly from File > New as the basis for new projects. Increased integration with – or promotion of – of Adobe Stock is key to a number of the changes in CC 2017. The panel enables users to search for tools, panels, menus, help content and tutorials, but also to search for stock assets from the Adobe Stock online marketplace directly within the software. There is also a new in-app search panel that can be launched from an icon in the application frame. General workflow changes in Photoshop CC 2017 include an extended Properties panel that displays the dimension of each layers in pixels, plus more typography options for type layers.
